Tom was walking home from school. He found a small puppy under a tree. The puppy was shaking. It was cold and scared.
"You look lost," Tom said. "Where is your home?"
The puppy looked at Tom with big brown eyes. Tom decided to help. He looked for a sign with "LOST DOG" on it. He asked people on the street. No one knew the puppy.
Then Tom had an idea. He put a picture of the puppy on his phone. He posted it online. "I found a lost puppy! Please share!"
Two hours later, an old lady called. "That is my puppy, Lucky!" she said. She came to Tom's house. Lucky ran to her. She was so happy.
"Thank you so much!" the lady said. "You are a good boy, Tom."
Tom smiled. He felt warm inside. Helping people feels good!
